A Wilderness Survival Backpack is a kit for persons who intend to live off the land, instead of traveling to a bug-out location. This is different from carrying supplies sufficient to reach a specific destination. The kit contains gear needed for camping and long-term survival in the wilderness–for example, saws and hatchets to construct a shelter, and weapons for protection and hunting.
